The Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza has signed the ordinance with which the reopening of the ski resorts is postponed until January 18. In recent days, the autonomous regions and provinces had requested through a letter from the president of the conference, Stefano Bonaccini, the postponement of the reopening in order to align the guidelines with the opinion expressed by the CTS.
Managers and all the realities that deal with the world of skiing will not settle for the green light because the most substantial part of the season has been skipped and the request for soft drinks continues to save thousands of jobs.
Politics in the field
The Piedmontese parliamentarians, among the most active in this game, react immediately to the decision of Minister Speranza. The deputy Silvia Fregolent (Italia Viva): “We hope that there will be no more postponements to start the ski season already very compromised by the Christmas closing and above all that the government wants to keep the promise made with the approval of the two odg in my first signature and signature of the colleague Porchietto to copy the French model in the refreshment method, valuing 70% of the average of the three previous years ».
Claudia Porchietto from Forza Italia adds: “The postponement of the green light to the opening of the ski resorts was already in the air for days, so we are not surprised by Speranza’s signing but should be followed immediately by the implementation of the commitment assumed by the Government by approving the agenda that I presented last week related to the budget law. We asked our colleague Fregolent to immediately implement a plan similar to the French one with compensation related to lost billing and proportional to the Fixed costs incurred, compensation for the entire mountain system linked to the snow system from the ski instructors to the lifts that were already released in the quinquies restorations. During these holidays we are working with the ski lifts to collect data on the snow system and with the instructors and ski schools to do the same. We call on the Government, especially the vice minister stro Castelli, who has shown attention and sensitivity to the issue, so that in the coming days there will be an encounter not only with the Regions but also with the snow system.
Alessandro Benvenuto (Lega Nord) invites us to take into account the investments made so far with respect to a sector and a territory that is key to the development of the country: “Companies, entrepreneurs and territories have also spent significant amounts for a season that begins to more than halved. We need 100% soft drinks. “
