Covid Abruzzo: bulletin Thursday, December 31, 2020, 456 new cases and 7 deaths

Compared to yesterday there are 456 new cases, ranging in age from 9 months to 99 years. The death toll of patients registers 7 new cases and amounts to 1,213.

There are 64 positives under 19 years of age, of which 13 in the province of L’Aquila, 9 in the province of Pescara, 17 in the province of Chieti and 25 in the province of Teramo.

The number of deceased patients registered 7 new cases and amounts to 1,213, with ages between 51 and 100 years: 3 in the province of L’Aquila, 2 in the province of Chieti and 2 in the province of Teramo. Of today’s total, 2 cases refer to deaths that occurred in recent days and reported only today by the ASL.

The number of positive cases also includes 23028 discharged / cured (+412 compared to yesterday).

The positives currently in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total positives) are 11,073 (+37 compared to yesterday).

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 516,422 tests have been carried out (+4311 compared to yesterday).

430 patients (-2 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care; 35 (-1 compared to yesterday with 3 new hospitalizations) in intensive care, while the other 10,608 (+40 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.

Of the total positive cases, 11026 are residents or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+113 compared to yesterday), 7198 in the province of Chieti (+140), 7141 in the province of Pescara (+55), 9500 in the province of Teramo (+154), 290 outside the region (+11) and 159 (-17) for which provenance controls are being carried out.
