Covid-19, there are 1395 new positives in Puglia

The president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Health Promotion department, Vito Montanaro, reports that today, Friday, January 1, 2021 in Puglia, 7,045 tests have been registered for the Covid-19 coronavirus infection and have been registered. 1,395 positive cases:

• 564 in the province of Bari,
• 155 in the province of Brindisi,
• 93 in the BAT province,
• 325 in the province of Foggia,
• 80 in the province of Lecce,
• 172 in the province of Taranto,
• 3 residents outside the region,
• 3 cases of province of unknown residence.

9 deaths were recorded: 1 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Lecce, 6 in the province of Taranto.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,051,359 tests have been carried out.

• 35,965 patients were recovered.
• 53,913 are currently positive cases.

The total of positive cases of Covid in Puglia is 92,359, divided as follows:

• 35,691 in the province of Bari;
• 10,593 in the province of Bat;
• 6,656 in the province of Brindisi;
• 20,341 in the province of Foggia;
• 7,170 in the province of Lecce;
• 11,287 in the province of Taranto;
• 521 attributed to residents outside the region;
• 100 province of unknown residence.

Asl’s Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.
