The total number of anti-Covid vaccinations in Italy has reached 32,143. Women outnumber men: 18,494 have already received the vaccine, while men are 13,649 to date. According to data updated shortly after 1:00 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, from the report published on the Government’s website, in the section of the Emergency Commissioner, the majority of the total vaccinated are health workers: 28,221 among doctors, nurses, while 2,085 are non-health personnel. and another 1,837 are the guests of the residential structures.

From December 30 to January 1, 469,950 doses of the vaccine were delivered. Of these, the largest number reached Lombardy (80,595) where only 2.7 percent were administered, followed by Lazio (45,805) with a much higher percentage than 13.4 of the doses given. So far, the highest number of administered vaccines are in Friuli Venezia Giulia (16.3%) and the autonomous province of Bolzano (16.2%). In Sicily 46,510 doses were administered, but punctures stopped in 1.8%, as in Campania: 6.5% of the 33,870 doses were administered.
