There are 703 new cases of Covid in the Brands. This is what the Health Service of the Region communicates in the first bulletin of the day after the examination in the last 24 hours of 5,582 swabs: 3,649 new diagnoses in the course (of which 1,627 in screening with antigenic pathway) and 1,933 healed along the way. The incidence of positives with respect to the tests tested is therefore 19.3% (yesterday it was 17.5%), if we also consider the Antigen screening, it is 27.8% if the 1,627 rapid tests are excluded ( yesterday at 23.2%). New infections were recorded: 134 in the province of Macerata, 219 in the province of Ancona, 107 in the province of Pesaro-Urbino, 144 in the province of Fermo, 66 in the province of Ascoli Piceno and 33 from outside the region).

“These cases – explains the Region – symptomatic subjects (75 cases detected), contacts at home (144 cases detected), close contacts of positive cases (194 cases detected), contacts in the work environment (31 cases detected), contacts in living / social environments (36 cases detected), contacts in the environment 13 cases detected), contacts with the involvement of students of all educational levels (21 cases detected), screening of healthcare channels (14 cases detected). For another 175 cases, epidemiological investigations are still underway. In the Antigen Screening route, 1,627 tests were carried out and 141 positive cases were found (to be subjected to molecular swabbing). The positive / analyzed ratio is 8% ». Governor of Marche Francesco Acquaroli is concerned. “RT is on the rise – he tells Chronicles Maceratesi – but what worries me most is the number of cases per day and the number of positives in mass screening is also increasing. Currently the situation is under control, the number of hospitalizations is still high, always with 60-70 people in the intensive. My call for today and tomorrow is to be very careful because the risk is to turn not only orange but also red if the increase is too high. The Rt index of 1 indicates that symptomatic infections are stable compared to last week. “At the moment we have a stable situation – continues Acquaroli – but the risk is that it will be overcome. In that case, on Friday, January 8, instead of reopening like the rest of Italy, we may have to close. Unfortunately, we no longer have space to intervene at this point.
