In the late afternoon of yesterday, December 31, 2020, the last day of the year, the firefighting teams of the Spilimbergo and San Vito al Tagliamento detachments, together with the barrel and the ladder truck from the Palmanova Headquarters, intervened by a chimney fire that later affected the wooden roof of a two-story house in Arzene di Valvasone.
The intervention, with an alarm triggered around 5:30 p.m., ended around 11 p.m., after securing the cover and making a temporary cover to prevent rainwater from entering the house, since the roof was badly damaged by the fire.
