Available from December 31 real-time update report on the number of Italians vaccinated against Covid-19. This was announced by the extraordinary commissioner for the emergency Domenico Arcuri and is now active. All the data can be found on the government’s website, in the section dedicated to the extraordinary commissioner, by clicking on Covid19 vaccines report. The display shows the numbers of vaccination campaign: how many Italians are vaccinated (14,813 at 3:42 p.m. on December 31), how many vaccines delivered per region, to whom they were administered and where.
The numbers
At 3:42 p.m. on December 31, 14,813 Italians were vaccinated. Of which 13,375 are health workers, 821 non-health workers and 617 guests of the RSA. The women vaccinated so far are 8,090, the men 6,723. Most of those who received the dose of Pfizer-Biontech vaccine were included in the age group 50 to 59 years (4294 people), followed by those 40 to 49 years who are 3382 and 60 to 69 years ). Then there are 2,531 vaccinated people who are between 30 and 39 years old and 1,390 those who are between 20 and 29 years old. Lombardy is the Italian region with the highest number of doses of the anti-Covid vaccine delivered as of December 31, equivalent to 80,595 (1.9% of the total). The doses administered to date are 1673. Sicilia continues with 46,510 (1.7%) doses delivered and 778 administered, and Lazio with 45,805 (5.8%) doses delivered, of which 2,806 administered. On the podium of the region that has administered the most doses is Lazio, followed by Lombardy with 1,673 and Piedmont with 1,583 doses.
