I am 1,554 the new cases of coronavirus that have been registered in Campania in the last 24 hours, compared to 19,003 swabs analyzed: these are the data disclosed in today’s bulletin issued by the Regional Crisis Unit. The contagion curve in Campania today rises slightly compared to yesterday, in fact there is an increase in the ratio between positives and swabs analyzed, which today is 8.17 percent compared to 7.75 yesterday. Despite this, in the last 24 hours in the regional territory there have also been 32 dead (10 died in the last 48 hours and 22 died previously but registered yesterday, a total of 2,844), while a comforting figure reaches once again the cured people, who for weeks have far exceeded the number of new cases, and that in the last 24 hours have been 1,878 (since the beginning of the pandemic 109,574). Overall, in Campania, from February to today, 189,673 people tested positive for coronavirus, while 2,035,364 swabs tested in total.
In the daily bulletin of the Crisis Unit of the Campania Region, as has been customary for some months, the situation of the hospitals in the regional territory is also indicated. Fortunately, the sharp decline in infections eased the pressure on the health system, emergency rooms and Covid departments of Campania hospitals.
