A first hypothesis is that the 77-year-old mother, suffering from cancer, may have died from the disease and that the two sons, 46 and 51 years later, committed suicide shortly after, overwhelmed by pain and despair. Both brothers were in bed, they would have dozed off then they would have stabbed each other to death, with a sword found in the house and captured by the military. However, the hypothesis remains that one of the two killed the other and then took his own life after the death of his mother.
