Rome. The Rt index in Liguria goes back. This was stated by the monitoring project of the control room of the ISS-Ministry of Health, for the reference period 22-27 December, which was announced last night.
“The punctual RT is compatible with a type 2 scenario – they warn – of special concern and therefore we urge you to consider applying the planned measures, due to the levels of risk attributed, even at the end of these holidays”.
According to the latest monitoring, the Rt index in Italy is 0.93 on average, while in Liguria, as well as in Veneto and Calabria, it rose above one. Obviously, the decision to extend the restrictions, which could mean keeping Liguria in the orange band on January 7, depends not only on the RT but on the complex analysis system that includes a score of factors and that the Government will have to evaluate before the end holiday.
