Return to the red zone: guide to the rules of the day

[ad_1]

After three days in orange, Trentino, like the rest of Italy, is once again the red zone. It will be the end of the year and New Years in the red zone.

Even after: from today until January 6 (with a single orange “window” on January 4) you can toast the new year, but closed at home in the company of your family. The 10 p.m. curfew makes dinners and group celebrations impossible.

To say goodbye to midnight, there will be no events in the square, dance evenings or Lucullian dinners in the restaurant. Those who want to turn on a light source to greet the New Year can do so but on the balcony or at most in the garden of the house. The mantra is always the same: masks and spacing to reduce the chances of contagion. Here is a formulary to contribute to the fight against Covid and avoid the risk of incurring high fines.

THE GUIDE

Curfew. It continues until January 6 from 10pm to 5am (but tomorrow until 7 in the morning). During the curfew, travel is allowed for work, health and necessity reasons, which will be specified on the self-certification form.

Visits to family and friends. They are also allowed on red days even if friends and family live in a different municipality than the one they reside in, as long as they remain within the provincial boundaries. Those who live in a municipality of fewer than 5,000 inhabitants can also cross provincial or regional borders, within 30 kilometers of residence. But beware: you can only make one visit a day. And you can also stay and sleep at the person’s home. A maximum of two people with children under 14 years of age or with disabilities can be transferred.

Hike and sports activity. Walking is allowed but is limited to 60 minutes round trip from home. Individual sporting activity is allowed within the municipality but those who are preparing for competitions of national or international importance can also abandon it.

Walking the dog. They are allowed, and in exceptional cases even after 22.00, which is the time when the curfew begins. It will be possible to go out with the dog after curfew, for example, that for work reasons or other valid reasons they cannot do it during the day. But you will have to declare them on the self-certification form.

Transfers between municipalities. If within your municipality there is no availability of shops and services whose activity is allowed these days, you can go to the nearest municipality where this type of trade and service is present.

Religious functions. It is allowed to go to churches and other places of worship -also located in municipalities other than one’s own, if they are usually frequented- to participate in religious services.

Self certification. It is better to have it with you, but the police can also provide it and complete it at the time of control. On red days, you can move, with self-certification, for work needs, health reasons and needs (for example, providing assistance to a non-self-sufficient person). Self-certification in the case of visits to friends and family must indicate the arrival address but not the name of the people visiting (for privacy).

Second box. Transfers of a cohabiting family unit to second residences are always allowed, from 5 to 22, within the province and always prohibited to other regions (also to Alto Adige).

Shops Stores are closed. The exceptions are grocery stores, tobacconists and newsagents, bookstores, dry cleaners, florists, hardware stores, pharmacies and parapharmacies, children’s clothing stores, sporting goods, car and motorcycle dealerships, bicycle shops. Hairdressers and barbers are also open, beauty centers closed.

Bars and restaurants. Closed. Take away food can be ordered and picked up until 10:00 pm.
