what changes and what can be done

Italy returns to the red zone. Today, with the last day of 2020, the anti-coronavirus rules in the country continue to change. On December 31 and then on January 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6, the red zone rules will come into force again and only on January 4 will Italy remain in the orange zone, as established by the decree of Christmas. From today there is a squeeze both in the allowed movements and in the open activities. So, let’s see how virus containment measures change, what can be done, and what is prohibited.

The rules for traveling in the red zone.

As of today, it will no longer be possible to leave home if it were not for proven work, health or emergency needs. Which must always be certified through the self-certification form. However, the government has planned some exceptions to the prohibitions. In fact, you can also leave home to go to find friends and family, but only one trip per day to another private home will be allowed and up to a maximum of two people. This means that for New Year’s Eve the organization of large parties in private homes will not be allowed: in fact, each house can accommodate a maximum of two people who do not live together.

On New Year’s Eve the curfew changes

Obviously, these exceptions will still have to take into account another limit to travel, the one imposed by the curfew. That, just for the day of New Year, it will last for a few hours. On the morning of January 1, in fact, the curfew will not end at 5 as usual, but at 7.

Both restaurants and shops are closed

In the red light district, bars and restaurants are closed to the public. They will only be able to work with take-out or home delivery services. They also close the deal, which were instead open in the orange zone. Only those establishments considered essential, such as supermarkets, grocery stores, pharmacies, tobacconists and kiosks may remain open. Clearly, anti-contagion rules must always be respected, such as safety distances, restricted entrances and disinfectant gel at the entrance.
