The situation in hospital wards improves slightly: there is 1 less person in “intensive care”, there are 2 less in high intensity “, but the number of people hospitalized for Infectious Diseases increases by 2.

«Against almost 4,800 swabs, 85 new positive cases have been determined by the molecular swab. Along with these, there is a significant number of positive cases in the rapid test: 494. These are the data that the Provincial Health Services Agency provides today to update the picture of the spread of Sars-CoV-2 in Trentino. Molecularly positive are also 112 other people who in recent days had been infected after performing the antigenic swab.
Therefore, the virus continues to circulate, with shocking effects, as evidenced, among other things, by the update of deaths that today increase by another 7 units. There are 4 men and 3 women between 63 and 92 years old. Four of these deaths occurred in the hospital.
Returning to new infections, there are many subjects with few symptoms (364) while 182 people do not present any symptoms.
There are also very young children this time (3 are between 0-2 years old, 1 between 3-5 years old) while there is no indication that the percentage of people over 70 who are infected is decreasing (today there are 78 more new cases).
The relationship between new hospital admissions and discharges is more balanced: yesterday, compared to 30 admissions, 27 discharges were registered, so the number of hospitalized patients is 425 (1 less than yesterday), of which 45 in intensive care.
The number of cured (241) is also important today, bringing the total since the beginning of the pandemic to 18,812.
