WHAT CAN YOU DO TODAY
Today, December 30 is the third and last day for Italians in the orange zone (the only exception is next January 4, also orange). You can go visit family and friends. (maximum of 2 people and making only one move per day), move to second homes if they are within their own Region and jogging or being physically active outside.

WHAT HAPPENS FROM TOMORROW
Since December 31, therefore since New Year and until January 3 (for which holidays and prior to holidays) the Peninsula instead returns to the now known Red zone, with a single big difference compared to December 24, 25, 26 and 27: The curfew on the night of December 31 ends at 7 a.m. on January 1 and not at 5 a.m. like the rest of the days. Otherwise the measures include prohibition to move even within the municipality itself if you do not have valid reasons to self-certify (always with the exception of a single visit per day to friends and family, maximum 2 people or with minor children); closed retail stores and shopping centers (food, newsstands, tobacconists and pharmacies are open instead) and bars and restaurants closed (Take until 10 pm and home deliveries are allowed). However, physical activity is allowed. outdoors but exclusively individually and close to your home, always respecting the safety distances of 2 meters or with a mask. To avoid doubts also to on New Years Eve private parties are strictly prohibited of any kind: under pain of administrative sanction between 400 and 1,000 euros for each of the participants.
THAT CHANGES AS OF JANUARY 7
As the Minister of Health Roberto Speranza and the entire executive repeated on several occasions, at the end of the Christmas measures the country will go back to the color system. However, it will not be a free all because if it is true that before Christmas we left the Peninsula almost entirely in the yellow zone, it is not certain that this will continue to be the case. In fact, several Regions, in light of the epidemiological follow-up to be carried out next weekend, could change color and therefore stay in the orange zone until the end of January.
