Claudia Alivernini, the first vaccinated, attacked by no-vax. “Let’s see when you die”

Her face has become a symbol of the covid vaccination campaign and non-vax have now targeted her on social media. “Now let’s see when you die,” reads one of the comments addressed to Claudia Alivernini, Spallanzani’s 29-year-old nurse in Rome, the first to be vaccinated in Italy against the coronavirus. Before the injection, Alivernini had blocked his social profiles to protect himself, but the attacks nevertheless reached the institutional profiles that spread the news of the vaccination. Two fake profiles have appeared on Instagram in his name.

Those who know her well know how shocked she was, calling for her immediate removal. The nurse who agreed to undergo the vaccine “with deep pride and a great sense of responsibility”, reiterating that she “believes in science”, is considering reporting the incident to the postal police at this time and will probably do so this morning. The feared crime is that of identity theft, not counting threats.
