The students of Brescia send a letter to the institutions, signed by the Union of Students of Brescia and by the representatives of the institutes ISS Sraffa, Bagatta, Gambara and De André, IIS Antonietti and Gigli before the (probable) return to classes of the principles from January. The letter was reported by Brescia Today.
The letter takes into consideration data from a survey, which saw more than 75% of students convinced of the inadequacy of the measures taken to return to school on January 7.
“We need careers at the right times to be able to get to school without long waits before being able to return”, write the students in the letter sent to the prefect Attilio Visconti, the president of the province Samuele Alghisi and his deputy Guido Galperti, to the council Municipal Councils of Brescia Federico Manzoni (Mobility) and Fabio Capra (Education), at the Brescia school office.
“Entering the school at 10 – they continue – would mean leaving even after 15, which would cause problems both in the consumption of lunch and in study time and other activities in the rest of the day.
“The line of action – the students write – would be to consider Dad as a last resort, preferring face-to-face teaching. It is essential, in the short term, to find places where to carry out face-to-face teaching if the spaces offered by school buildings are not enough, such as libraries, public offices, closed museums but also disused public buildings: it would also be appropriate to consider investments for the construction of new structures “.
