An instrument has been rebooted and technicians have not recalibrated – almost all samples were found to be damaged
The failure was caused by the instrument shutting down, which was restarted and was not recalibrated by the technicians – almost all samples tested positive. As reported in the bulletin, in fact, out of 68 reports analyzed last Sunday, 61 gave positive results.
Some of these belong to people who were hospitalized in various Parini wards and were therefore rushed to the Covid wards. All the swabs that tested negative were redone on Monday and were quarantined pending knowledge of whether they contracted the virus during their stay in the rooms dedicated to the coronavirus. Many protests have arisen from patients and families themselves.
