BARI – On V-Day with the first anti-Covid vaccines administered in all the provinces of Apulia, 221 new positive coronavirus cases were detected in Puglia in 1,748 registered tests for Covid-19 infection, with an incidence of 12.6 %. More than half, 129 cases, are found in the province of Bari, 25 in the province of Brindisi, 16 in the province of BAT, 8 in the province of Foggia, 17 in the province of Lecce, 23 in the province of Taranto , 3 residents outside the region.
12 deaths were recorded: 2 in the province of Bari, 5 in the province of BAT, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 2 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Taranto.
In the field of hospitalization, a slight increase in the last 24 hours: from 1,593 to 1,598 patients occupying beds in regional health facilities. On the other hand, the number of cured patients increased in one day, from 30,093 yesterday to 30,454 today (+361).
Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,008,542 tests have been carried out. 30,454 are recovered patients.
