As expected in the last hours, snow has started to fall in Liguria, also whitewashing the motorways, in particular on the A7, A10 and A26.

Around 10 o’clock it continued to snow heavily on the A7 Milan-Genoa between Serravalle Scrivia and Genoa Bolzaneto, while on the A7 Milan-Genoa between Genoa Bolzaneto and Genoa Ovest and on the A12 Genoa-Sestri Levante between the A7 junction and Genova Nervios

According to the Traffic Police, and to avoid the chaos of a few weeks ago, the transit of heavy vehicles weighing more than 7.5 tons in both directions on the A7 Milan-Genoa between Serravalle Scrivia and Genoa Bolzaneto towards Genoa and between the junction of the A12 and Serravalle Scrivia towards Milan, with traffic regulation for all vehicles between the Predosa-Bettole and Serravalle branch towards Genoa.

Snowfall in the city too: that’s where

The snow also fell heavily in the interior, whitewashing the roads and forcing local administrations to intervene with salt spreaders and snow plows to secure traffic.

Shortly after 8, however, there were no particular criticisms, although the first flakes began to fall even in the city: the whitewashed Valpolcevera, suggestive views also in Voltri (video of the snowfall between Voltri and Palmaro). In the west of Genoa there are even those who were carried away by enthusiasm and tried snowboarding in the yard.

Approaching the center, salt spreaders were also spotted in Oregon for the maintenance of hilly roads (and not only): the vehicles sprang into action on via Balestrazzi, via Paleocapa and via Vesuvio.
