In one of the emblematic places of the fight against Covid -among the nursing homes most affected in the first phase of the pandemic- vaccinations began this morning: together with Mrs. María, another 29 guests were vaccinated.
Mrs. Caldarulo was the first guest from Villa Giovanna who signed the consent to undergo the covid vaccination.
“Today in Bari we see the sun – said the dg Asl Bari, Antonio Sanguedolce – we start from an RSA and symbolically from the Covid Free clinics of the Di Venere hospital. It is a turning point and I hope all healthcare workers will lead by example in the coming days. “
The vaccines, escorted by the police, arrived inside the Villa Giovanna residential structure at 9.30 am and were entrusted to the operators of the Asl Prevention Department. Doses were reconstituted in a dedicated area with maximum safety and then administered to RSA guests.
