The president of the Puglia Region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Health Promotion Department, Vito Montanaro, reports that today, Saturday, December 26, 2020 in Puglia, 2,391 tests have been registered and recorded for infection by Covid-19 coronavirus. 544 positive cases: 161 in the province of Bari, 52 in the province of Brindisi, 27 in the province of BAT, 254 in the province of Foggia, 29 in the province of Lecce, 18 in the province of Taranto, 3 residents outside of the region.
25 deaths were recorded: 10 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of BAT, 5 in the province of Brindisi, 5 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Lecce, 2 in the province of Taranto.
1,006,794 tests have been carried out since the start of the emergency.
30,093 recovered patients.
53,790 are currently positive cases.
The total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 86,218, divided as follows:
33,212 in the province of Bari;
9,926 in the province of Bat;
6,226 in the province of Brindisi;
19,104 in the province of Foggia;
6,678 in the province of Lecce;
10,497 in the province of Taranto;
494 attributed to residents outside the region;
81 province of unknown residence.
Asl’s Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.
