From December 28 to 30, Italy goes from the current red zone to the orange one. Here are the new rules for moving and opening business activities.

Also, remember that on orange days, store reopening with times up to 21, to prevent customers from concentrating on a tight schedule and creating crowds.

What the orange zone provides

  • You can leave your home but any movement in and out of the municipalities of residence is prohibited.
  • One rule concerns the smallest municipalities: it is possible to leave the territory of municipalities with less than five thousand inhabitants within a radius of 30 kilometers.   • The shops can remain open until 9:00 p.m., but the activities of the catering services are suspended (including bars, pubs, restaurants, ice cream parlors, patisseries). Catering with home delivery is allowed and, until 10 pm, take-out catering, with prohibition of consumption on the spot or in the immediate vicinity. In any case, the restaurants on the highway and the catering services at the stations and airports remain open.
