Freemasons claim secrecy, turn to Brussels from Catania

The battle of an “Italian citizen” whose name is top secret and whom “S” interviewed.

He was an “Italian citizen”, this AM (whose name is top secret even in official documents), to provoke the European Parliament about the law that obliges the deputies of the Sicilian Regional Assembly, the members of the Giunta and the local administrators, to declare any membership in Freemasonry. It did so with an 11-page petition that has the stated goal of repealing in Toto of 18/2018 of the Sicilian Region, the law that bears the name of the president of the Antimafia commission in Ars, Claudio Fava.

The underlying reason? Because it would implement “an alleged violation of the fundamental rights enshrined in the Italian constitution and the charter of fundamental rights of the European Union.”

Fundamental rights

A request that was taken very seriously in Brussels. So much so that the Commission has written its observations: “We will ask the Italian authorities for the information necessary to assess the compatibility of the provisions of the law with EU legislation, including the fundamental ones recognized by the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union “.

“Freedom of thought”

“Non-discrimination, freedom of thought, conscience and religion, and freedom of assembly and association”, this is what is at stake for the European Parliament. In the background, however, there are dramatic pages of Sicilian history (and not only), where the name of Freemasonry has been paired with that of the Mafia. Our monthly magazine, exclusively, contacted the owner of the petition.

The monthly S, interviewed AM, who -in anonymity- explained to us what is happening in the Brussels-Rome-Palermo-Catania ring. The full interview is still on newsstands.
