“It is a message of confidence that radiates in Italy and in Europe,” added the Prime Minister.

“Thanks to Minister Speranza, the Arcuri commissioner, the Armed Forces and all health workers who will allow us to carry out an unprecedented vaccination campaign,” he concluded.

Education Minister Lucía Azzolina shared the Prime Minister’s message.

Thus comes the day of Vax. Lombardy, the region hardest hit by the pandemic, receives the highest number of doses (9,750 in total), writes Ansa. Then there are Emilia Romagna, Lazio, Piedmont and Veneto.

We recall that among the categories that will have priority are health professionals. For school personnel, the vaccine will be available in a second phase with increasing doses.

Vaccines against Covid-19, first health and the elderly. School staff and students will have to wait, not for administrations under the age of 16.
