In Poggibonsi, a 61-year-old woman stabbed her 40-year-old son during a dispute and was arrested by the Carabinieri for attempted murder.
Late at night, in an apartment in the city of Valdelsana, the fight between the man – known, like his relatives, by the police -, his mother and his partner, became a brutal act that could have had a much more tragic ending.
As reconstructed by the Carabinieri, the 61-year-old mother, NR, from the province of Naples, puzzled by her son’s behavior, did not think twice about taking a knife in the house and throwing three blows on the back when the man was arguing. with his partner, in front of his little one of a few months.
The Carabinieri, after being alerted, intervened in the place in a few moments with a gazelle from the Radio Nucleus of the Poggibonsi Company.
After verifying what had happened minutes before, while the medical personnel 118, warned by the same mother, provided first aid to the wounded, the military proceeded to conduct a home search, after which they recovered the knife used for the wound and have acquired items useful for investigations that have corroborated what happened, which was also confirmed by the 61-year-old man to the same researchers.
The woman, therefore, was transferred to the offices of the Company’s Command to further investigate the case. The soldiers of the Arma proceeded to inform the Public Ministry of Siena, which coinciding with the investigative activity carried out, ordered the arrest of the woman for attempted murder.
The son, who was rushed to the Santa Maria alle Scotte polyclinic in Siena, will get away with a couple of weeks of treatment as, fortunately, no vital organs have been injured.
