On Christmas Eve the worst nightmare. At around 8 p.m. on December 24, a 78-year-old man was the victim of a robbery. The woman, living in a villa in via Sandro Pertini, in Montecassiano in the province of Macerata, died. Among the hypotheses is that of an illness after having surprised a thief in the house. According to the first rumors, in fact, a man would have sneaked into the victim’s house, locking her husband in the bathroom and tying up and slapping the daughter who lives with the couple along with a nephew. The investigations of the carabinieri are still in progress to find out the true dynamics of the events.
