With 18,040 positives in the last 24 hours in Italy have been overcome the two million cases registered since the beginning of the epidemic, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Now it’s 2,009,317. The registered victims are instead 505. Yesterday there were 14,522 positives, 553 victims. In total, the deaths since the beginning of the epidemic are 70,900. Those currently positive are 593,632 (-5,184), those recovered and discharged 1,344,785 (+22,718).

The positivity rate is 9.3% (yesterday 8.3%). Patients in intensive care due to Covid-19 in Italy decreased by 35, in the balance between entries and exits, according to data from the Ministry of Health. Admissions for the day are 149 (yesterday 216). In total, there are 2,589 patients hospitalized in intensive care. On the other hand, those hospitalized with symptoms in ordinary wards are 24,070, 476 units less than yesterday.
