Patients with symptoms decrease and are 1,028. The number of beds occupied in intensive care remains stable: 176 with six new entrants (in line with 7 yesterday). In total, 1,204 patients are hospitalized for Covid. While in home isolation there are 32,410 people (yesterday they were 32,257). The total current positives is 33,614. 800 are discharged / cured in the last 24 hours, a figure that brings the total to 51,197. There are ten other victims (for a total of 2,213).

The number of positives in Palermo remains stable
The number of positives in Palermo has remained stable in recent days, although in just one month it has increased by almost 2,000 units. The number of positives remains stable above 9,000 in the city and above 11,000 in the metropolitan area. It went from 7,748 on November 22 to 9,323 on December 22. Safe schools
There are fewer and fewer positive cases among students in Sicily. From the last survey of the regional office of the school, in the last week 429,251 students from 543 schools (93% of the first cycle) were positive for Covid-19 are 957, equal to 0.22% while a week ago the index was 0.28%. At the tampon fair also at Christmas and New Years
There are 54,285 swabs and 3,483 (6.42%) positives found since the start of the activity (last October 30) in the unit set up at the Mediterranean Fair. Yesterday the maximum influx was registered with 1,612 swabs and 130 positives (which were subjected to molecular swabbing as required by the sanitary protocol for definitive verification). Vaccines
In Sicily, 685 people will participate in the initial phase of the anti-Covid vaccination campaign that will begin on Sunday, December 27, as well as throughout Europe, with the vaccination day scheduled at the Civic Hospital.
