4,296 swabs were made. Hospitalizations continue to decline
SASSARI. A total of 29,136 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the latest update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 269 new cases were detected. There are also 8 deaths (689 in total). A total of 458,742 swabs were performed with an increase of 4,296 tests. On the other hand, 519 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (seven less than yesterday), while the number of patients in intensive care is 44 (-4). There are 15,406 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 12,191 (+172) recovered patients, plus another 287 clinically recovered. Of the 29,136 positive cases verified in total, 6,470 (+63) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 4,672 (+67) in the south of Sardinia, 2,287 (+28) in Oristano, 5,807 (+15) in Nuoro, 9,900 (+96) in Sassari.
