Meanwhile, Italy is preparing to enter the red zone starting tomorrow, Thursday, December 24, and is awaiting the arrival of the first vaccines.

There are a total of 33,875 positive cases of Covid 19 registered in Abruzzo Since the beginning of the emergency, 255 more since yesterday, of which 33 are under 19 years of age. The number of victims amounts to 1,151, 14 new deaths: between 60 and 100 years, there are 6 in the province of L’Aquila, 4 in the province of Chieti and 4 in the province of Pescara. The positives currently in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total positives) are 12,019 (-229 compared to yesterday). Since the beginning of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 496,034 tests have been carried out (+4123 compared to yesterday). This was reported by the Regional Department of Health.
Positive cases in the last 24 hours in Veneto There are 3,357, with an incidence of 6.74% on the nearly 50 thousand tampons manufactured. This was stressed by the president of Veneto, Luca Zaia, during the press briefing. The positives in the region today are 103,326, 3,269,381 hospitalized in intensive care (plus 2), 2,188 in non-critical areas (-19), since yesterday 116 more deaths have been registered for a total of 5,747 since the epidemic began last February 21.
Since the beginning of the coronavirus epidemic, in Emilia–Romagna 159,472 cases of positivity were registered, that is, 1,129 more than yesterday, out of a total of 17,913 swabs performed in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives over the number of swabs made since yesterday is 6.3%. Unfortunately, there are 71 new deaths.
The President of the Region Puglia, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the director of the Health Promotion department, Vito Montanaro, reports that today, Wednesday, December 23, 2020, in Puglia, 10,492 tests of Covid-19 coronavirus infection were registered and 942 positive cases were registered: 306 in the province of Bari, 57 in the province of Brindisi, 68 in the province BAT, 205 in the province of Foggia, 90 in the province of Lecce, 208 in the province of Taranto, 7 residents outside the region, 1 case of unknown residence. 20 deaths were recorded: 7 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of BAT, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 8 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Lecce, 1 in the province of Taranto.

Two deaths and eleven new positive cases in Aosta Valley. According to the Region’s bulletin, in the last 24 hours the current infected have been reduced to 430 (the cures were 35). There are 88 hospitalized patients (48 in the Parini hospital, 31 in the ISAV, 5 in the field hospital) of which four are in intensive care. Finally, 342 people are in home isolation.
