At what point is the Emilia-Romagna plan for going back to school, but especially for public transport? At the moment, the only certainty is the classroom teaching scheduled for January 7 for 75% of high school students. The rest will be developed or, in some cases, organized despite the available months. The metropolitan city, in the first place, where the situation of entry and exit of the 30 institutes, with respect to September 14, will remain unchanged. Translated: the 30 thousand attending students will cross the threshold of the classes between 8.15 and 9. They also staggered the outputs: 12.30-14. In recent days, therefore, the signing of the prefect of Bologna Francesca Ferrandino (in the photo) on the strengthening of the transport network with the incorporation of 33 buses (in addition to the 45 already available since the beginning of the year) and with Tper that has secured others. 5 if necessary. In Reggio Emilia, on the other hand, there will be 19 more vehicles, with the bell times distributed between 8 and 10. Shift times, but without frights, also in Ferrara.
In the institutes of the city and province, the entrances and exits will take place every 5 minutes. In the morning the school groups will enter at 8, 8.05 and 8.10 and consequently the same sequence will also be maintained at the exit. There will be 17 more buses available, bringing the vehicle fleet to just under 200. Additional parking areas will be equipped to better distribute the lift of children. The Prefecture announced a strengthening of controls, also with the use of volunteers and private security guards. In Modena, the only significant change concerns the “double shift” for secondary school: 8-13 and 10-15. Stores and services will continue as before. In Ravenna the buses will increase for the second time (+24), while the schedules for students and shops will remain unchanged. There are no schedule changes in Cesena, where the City Council appeals to the common sense of citizens not to use public transport in the ‘hot’ moments of the schools. In Forlì, more than 10 thousand seats are ready on the buses to face the return of the students. On the high seas, on the other hand, the situation in Rimini with school leaders who in recent days have said no to the staggered entry. In addition, Start Romagna does not have sufficient means to take up the lessons, so agreements are sought with individuals.
