Two passengers aboard a Delta Air Lines flight operated the emergency conduit on Monday and exited the plane just before takeoff from New York’s LaGuardia Airport. This was reported by the airline officials. The passengers, an unidentified man and woman, were traveling on flight DL462, a registered Airbus A321 N357DN bound for Atlanta when they got off the plane while taxiing. In the race, they took their dog down the slide.

Another passenger on the flight told the New York Times that he saw the couple and their dog change seats several times as the plane prepared to depart. He added that the man stood up as the plane began to move and ignored a flight attendant’s order to sit down. The incident, highlights Giovanni D’Agata, president of the “Table of Rights”, forced the plane to return to the boarding gate, where the passengers got off and boarded other flights. They arrived in Atlanta 9 hours late.
