The high number of new positives announced today (which as always refers to swabs taken on different days) comes after several days in which the data had stabilized at a very low level. This new update certifies an increase, for now slight, announced by ATS Insubria analysis that last week had raised the alarm about a turnaround in the contagion curve. This is a fairly modest increase for now that, as always, will be seen in the coming days.
Another fact to read carefully is the relative to hospital admissions in Lombardy that today marked an increase after almost a month that this did not happen. It must be taken into account but other communications will have to wait for an evaluation. As this figure is the balance between new hospitalizations and reported patient discharges from Lombard hospitals, this increase may be due to some delay in communication.
