Like on a swing. If yesterday the infections were decreasing and instead the hospitalizations increased, today in the new bulletin it is seen that the cases are increasing again and yet the number of beds occupied in the hospital decreases. The new infections identified in the last 24 hours are, in fact, 894 of the 8,689 swabs processed, with a positive rate of 10.2%. In contrast, ordinary hospitalizations become 1,059 (-22 compared to yesterday) and therapies go from 181 to 176, with only 7 new admissions (yesterday there were 16). The dead are 22.
However, as is often the case in recent days, the number of cured exceeds the number of new infections: today there are 1,283. This means that the number of current positives drops: 33,492 (32,257 in home isolation). Low number of new cases in the province of Palermo, only 150. Higher in Catania (285) and Messina (199). Then they are followed by Ragusa (21), Trapani (42), Siracusa (72), Agrigento (36), Caltanissetta (48), Enna (41).
