The Local Health Authority of Modena, together with the Hospital – University of Modena, communicates with deep emotion the death of Filippo Fard, doctor of the local emergency service 118. He had been hospitalized for covid since mid-November, in intensive care before Reggio Emilia and then transferred to Baggiovara Hospital.
Filippo was born in 1957 and was of Iranian origin; He was in service at the USL of Modena since October 2010. In 2013 he obtained the professional assignment as “collaborator in the follow-up of patients in cardiocirculatory arrest and in the control of medical records collected by voluntary associations”. Although he worked in our province, he was not a resident of the Modena area.
The Directorate General of AUSL, together with all its employees and all the health authorities of Modenese, is holding on to the family members and the 118 operators who suffer from this loss. As a show of condolences and closeness to the family, the activities of the First Aid and 118 Service Stations throughout the province will stop at 1:00 p.m. today, for a minute of silence at the end of which the ambulance sirens sound and automotive stations. they will play for 20 seconds. The entire USL company will symbolically join this spontaneous gesture born from colleagues, extending the minute of silence in all their offices in memory of this professional.
