The Health Service of the Marches Region has communicated that the screening operation “Safe Marches” on Friday 18 and Saturday 19 December 2020 revealed a membership of 16,852 people with 73 positive cases for the rapid antigen test. Together in the city of Ancona they carried out 3,541 proof and have been detected 12 positive cases, In the two cities of Pesaro and Urbino, 4,824 people were screened and 48 positive cases were found, in the city of Macerata 1,743 tests were carried out, of which 5 were positive. In the city of Fermo, 2,534 tests were processed, of which 4 with a positive result. In the city of Ascoli Piceno, 4,210 tests were carried out, 4 of which were positive. In total, the percentage of positivity is equal to 0.43% while the percentage of adherence in the target population is 5.3%. The positive cases detected were subjected to molecular swabbing.

Please note that the free screening for all citizens continues in the cities of Ancona, Ascoli Piceno, Fermo, Macerata, Pesaro and Urbino until December 23. Also in Ancona from December 27 to 30. All the indications and forms of participation can be found on the institutional website of the Region and the respective Municipalities. All the municipalities of Marche will participate in the subsequent phases.
