The 20 million euro water saving fund arrives, which provides for a water bonus from 1,000 euros for interventions to replace ceramic sanitary containers with new appliances and devices for reduced discharge of taps toilets, shower heads shower and existing shower columns with new water flow limiting devices, in existing buildings, parts of existing buildings or individual housing units. What is the bonus?
With a reform to the Budget Law, the constitution of the “Fund for the saving of water resources” was approved, with an endowment of 20 million euros for 2021. The bonus, worth 1000 euros until resources are exhausted, natural persons residents in Italy who will bear the costs of:
– the supply and installation of ceramic sanitary vessels with a maximum discharge volume equal to or less than 6 liters and related discharge systems, including connected plumbing and masonry works and the disassembly and disposal of pre-existing systems;
– the supply and installation of taps and taps for bathrooms and kitchens, including devices to control the flow of water with a flow rate equal to or less than 6 liters per minute and sprinklers and shower columns with a water flow rate equal to or less than 9 liters per minute , including connected plumbing and masonry work and disassembly and disassembly of existing systems.
The bond will not contribute to the formation of the taxable income of the beneficiaries and will not be relevant for ISEE purposes. The definition of the disbursement methods and deadlines for obtaining the bonus is delegated in a decree of the Minister of the Environment which must be issued within 60 days after the Budget Law enters into force.
