Milan, December 20, 2020 – The research in death of Dr. Stefano Ansaldi. The 65-year-old gynecologist from Campania was assassinated yesterday in via Macchi, in the Central area of Milan. In the first hours after the murderer the hypothesis that had taken shape was that of the robbery ended badly. But it would be just one of the potential customers who follow the carabinieri. What seems certain is that the man was attacked by two people, probably young people between 30 and 35 years old. the reasons however, they have yet to be clarified. The murder took place late yesterday afternoon at the junction between via Macchi and via Scarlatti, inside the pedestrian walkway built by a construction company that is renovating the corner building. According to the trail of the bloody robbery, the two would take the victim from behind and hit her on the neck, then try tear the chronograph from his wrist. But that is not the only hypothesis. Detectives believe the man may have come to town for a specific appointment and that the murder resulted from a fights with people he knew.
According to what was reported, there would be different elements that would lead to this scenario, starting from the alleged pre-Christmas greeting to a relative. In fact, the woman was about to return to her homeland before the travel restrictions for Covid, so the family reason for the trip would cease. In addition, the doctor had personal effects, such as a light leather briefcase, watch, and wallet. To this would be added the behavior of the alleged murderers, who after the murder themselves you changed your clothes to further confuse the researchers’ research. Element that I would suggest to someone who had a piano or at least the idea of some reason to flee.
The other aggression
Investigations also revealed that there was no link between the murder in Via Macchi and another alarm, which was triggered on Saturday in the same area. In fact, shortly after Ansoaldi’s murder, a 72-year-old man who was returning to his home in via Boscovich was blocked, thrown to the ground and stripped of his mobile phone and watch. Initially there was a strong suspicion that there could be a link but, according to the findings, it would be two different episodes. Then the idea that they were serial robbers would fall.
The memory
The death of the doctor aroused great emotion in Naples, in the area of Piazza Cavour, where he had his office, and in Benevento, the city where he was from. There are those who met in front of the building that houses the office where they received the patients, someone wrote a letter to remember it. Many tributes remain on social networks. There Singer Nancy Coppola recalled “the great man and professional”: “Thanks to him I had my daughter.” On the web, many have mentioned professional preparation, but also and especially the human side. “It has helped so many of us,” recalls one young woman, “it couldn’t have ended like this.”
