1,795 infections and 49 deaths, hospitalizations decreased

Hospitalizations in hospitals in Lombardy

The data relating to hospital admissions and intensive care, useful for monitoring the evolution of the epidemic, describe a more stable and improved situation than in recent weeks. In the last 24 hours, the number of hospital admissions has fallen by 151, bringing the total to 4,341 (yesterday they were 4,495). There is also a decrease in admissions to intensive care units: the balance is 9 patients less than yesterday (yesterday the balance between new admissions and discharges was 10 fewer hospitalizations), for a total of 583 hospitalized people. The number of cured / discharged patients continues to grow, now reaching 366,058: 618 people have managed to overcome the disease in the last 24 hours.

The new positives in the provinces

As for the Lombard provinces, there are 570 new positive coronavirus cases in the province of Milan, of which 217 in the city of Milan. There are 207 new positives in the province of Monza and Brianza, 39 in the province of Varese, 242 in the province of Brescia, 66 in the province of Como and 186 in the province of Pavia. The province of Bergamo registered 80 new infections, 64 in Lecco, 86 new infections in the province of Lodi, 47 in that of Cremona, 56 in the province of Sondrio and finally 87 in Mantua.

Last Sunday before the closure in Lombardy
