Self-certification must be completed when leaving during curfew, that is from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Here too there can be only three reasons: work, health and need. The form must be taken when visiting friends or family, within the limits in which the Christmas decree allows it on red days and with a maximum of two people (minors under 14 years old are not counted). Being then in any situation that is allowed to return home, whoever has to do so at a time when the trip is prohibited must be justified with self-certification.

On orange days (December 28, 29, 30 and January 4) it is forbidden to leave the municipality or, if you live in a municipality with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants, exceed the distance of 30 kilometers. Who should do it for work, health or necessity reasons should indicate it in the self-certification. Even on orange days it is still the obligation to justify yourself with the completed form if you are away from home during curfew hours from 22 to 5. In your municipality, however, you can move freely without carrying a pass.

According to a new interpretation of the government decree, it will be possible to reach second homes within the region itself, even on red days. In this case, the completed form will be required and self-certification will be used for all movements that were prohibited even before the Christmas decree of December 18. Also in these cases it will be necessary to justify the reasons of health, need or work.
