The control and prevention activity continues: of the new infected, 750 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional activities of tracing and detection of contacts. The average age of new positives today is 44.5 years. Of the 750 asymptomatic patients, 386 were identified through contact tracing, 72 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 12 through serological tests, and 14 through prehospital tests. The epidemiological investigation is still ongoing for 266 cases.
The contagion situation in the provinces sees Modena with 269 new cases, Bologna (328), Reggio Emilia (247), Rimini (162), Ravenna (133), Parma (85), Piacenza (121), Ferrara (107) . Then Cesena (101), Imola (34) and Forlì (54). These are the data – verified today at 12 o’clock on the basis of institutional requests – related to the advance of the epidemic in the region.
In the last 24 hours, 13,851 swabs were made, for a total of 2,412,286. To these are added 514 serological tests and 3,625 quick swabs performed since yesterday. As for the total number of people cured, they are 2,944 more than yesterday and reach 85,872.
Active cases, that is, actual patients, to date are 60,949 (-1,376 compared to yesterday). Of these, people isolated at home, that is, those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or do not have symptoms, are 57,924 (-1,430) in general, more than 95% of the total active cases.
