SASSARI. A total of 28,075 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the start of the emergency. In the last update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 380 new cases were detected. There are also 9 deaths (653 in total), four men and five women between 74 and 97 years old. The victims: four residents of the province of South Sardinia, three of the Metropolitan City of Cagliari and two, respectively, of the provinces of Oristano and Sassari. A total of 444,991 swabs were performed with an increase of 4,068 tests. On the other hand, 533 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (fourteen less than yesterday’s figure), while the number of patients in intensive care is 52 (-1). There are 15,091 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 11,504 (+287) recovered patients, plus another 242 clinically recovered. In the territory, of the 28,075 positive cases verified in total, 6,151 (+116) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 4,420 (+44) in the south of Sardinia, 2,214 (+41) in Oristano, 5,659 (+105) ) in Nuoro, 9,631 (+74) in Sassari.
