The Christmas Decree is published in the Official Gazette but there is an error. The provision, which contains the measures to be adopted during the holidays, according to the notes will come into force in one year: ‘notes: The provision entered into force: 12/19/2021’, we read in the text also published online-

The typo obviously does not leak and bounce off social media, where it quickly becomes the subject of discussion and ironies. Even the mayor of Bergamo, Giorgio Gori, underlines the mistake with a red pencil: “And for a year … free everyone!”

The typo ends up in the spotlight and is corrected. The online document now has the correct effective date.
