An oversight, an error (perhaps more than one) that cost a whole game in Giampaolo’s Turin, already in clear difficulty. We are talking, specifically, about the expulsion of Wilfried for a double yellow card Singo at 14 ‘with a non-existent second yellow. Thereafter, a confusing and disorderly direction: to try to maintain the same wrong criteria of judgment, Abisso took four yellow cards in 24 minutes, seven on the final count of a game destroyed in the bud by an error. Nor does the VAR protocol help, which should be modified to allow review in cases like this and not just for direct expulsions.

THE CHRONIC – There are three controversial episodes, all decisive. The first, in fact, is the second yellow trimmed to Singo, quite simple to evaluate: duel on the wing, Singo touches the ball and then touches Spinazzola’s foot in a normal game contrast. There are not even the conditions for the foul, even more so for a second yellow card for more than a quarter of an hour. Yellow for Singo, but not even missing on Belotti in the 24th minute, in the action of the first goal for Roma: Mancini (already booked) knocks down Gallo before concluding and in the rebound Mkhitaryan notices. Not even this time Di Bello calls Abisso to the VAR. Then the penalty for the contact between Bremer and Dzeko: there is a first touch outside the area, then a minimal cross between the legs in the area. Once again, more than a few doubts remain.
