The day after the Federal Reserve meeting, the Italian stock market closed above par today.
Today it was the turn of the della Bank of England meeting which, unsurprisingly, has reference rate confirmed at 0.1% and the bond purchase target pending developments on the Brexit side.
At the close of operations in Europe, the Eurodollar rose 0.38% to 1.22439 while futures for February delivery on Brent rose 0.7% to 51.44 dollars a barrel.

In the end, the Ftse Mib stopped at 22,012.07 points (+ 0.12%) while the spread is 108 basis points (+ 1.3%).
The best performing stocks in the Milan blue chip basket are Pirelli stocks, which rose 4.67%.
Also positive for Fiat Chrysler (+ 0.63%) after theAcea has disclosed the data related to registrations in Europe: compared to -12% of the market, FCA registered -2.6%.
Among industrialists, a thud for Fincantieri (-6.29%): according to the agency Bloomberg, the company could resort to extraordinary operations, including a possible capital increase of 1.5 billion.
Half a percentage point red for Creval shares (-0.52%). Weakness is related to statements by Giampiero Maioli, number one of Credit Agricole in Italy. The manager assesses the offer as “adequate” and consequently there is no intention of “revising the price, which we believe reflects the bank’s aspects and the current context.”
Also positive for public services: Hera gained 1.98%, A2A 2.07%, Terna 1.21% and Enel 0.14%.
1pm update: utilities drive Ftse Mib
At 1:00 p.m. the Ftse Mib rose 0.46% (22,087.21 points), the Dax registered + 0.78% and the Cac40 increased 0.37%.
Another negative sign for the spread, it was down more than one percentage point to 105 basis points.
The best performing stocks in the Milanese blue chip basket are Pirelli stocks, which, with an increase of 3.89%, are about to close the gap on 24 February.

Two and a half hours after the start of trading, the Dow Jones derivative registered + 0.42%, that of the S & P500 advanced 0.5% and the Nasdaq future rose 0.39%.

Asian stock markets closed positively
Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index registered + 0.77%, China’s A50 ended with + 1.36% and the Nikkei closed with + 0.18%.
1.16% increase for the Australian S & P / ASX 200 index.
Wall Street: close small move for Dow and S&P
Yesterday’s session on Wall Street ended with the Dow Jones falling 0.15% and the S & P500 rising 0.18%. Round increase of half a percentage point for the Nasdaq.
