The ratio between tests performed (in the last 24 hours they were 4025) and infected continues to decrease
CAGLIARI. A total of 27,410 positive Covid-19 cases were determined in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the last update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 268 new cases were detected. There are also 11 deaths (634 in total), seven men and four women between 59 and 97 years old. The victims: six residents from the province of Sassari, two from southern Sardinia, two from the metropolitan city of Cagliari and one from the province of Nuoro.
In total, 436,182 swabs were performed with an increase of 4,025 tests. On the other hand, 558 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+8 compared to yesterday’s figure), while the number of patients in intensive care is 56 (-1). There are 14,925 people in home isolation. The progressive number of positive cases includes 11,031 (+212) recovered patients, plus another 206 clinically recovered.
In the territory, of the 27,410 positive cases verified in total, 5,958 (+64) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 4,333 (+72) in southern Sardinia, 2,173 (+20) in Oristano, 5,492 (+76) ) in Nuoro, 9,454 (+36) in Sassari.
