The new positives in the regional territory continue to fall, but the average age also falls. Almost 1,200 infected people end home isolation
FLORENCE – In the last 24 hours in Tuscany, 332 new Covid positives have been identified, with an average age of 46 years, a sharp decline compared to the 445 in yesterday’s regional bulletin. Therefore, the total number of infected people since the beginning of the epidemic amounts to 113,121.
New positives were diagnosed using swabs 2,765 suspected casesi of which 12% was positive (yesterday the percentage was much higher, 17%). Considering also the control swabs in already known cases, we arrive at 8,572 proof to which 4,135 fast buffers are added.
The number of deaths is still very high, today they are Four. Five, 25 men and 20 women with an average age of 82 years. In relation to the province of residence, the deceased lived 8 in Florence, 3 in Prato, 2 in Pistoia, 2 in Massa Carrara, 3 in Lucca, 10 in Pisa, 4 in Livorno, 4 in Arezzo, 3 in Siena, 5 in Grosseto, 1 resident outside of Tuscany. The total number of victims amounts to 3,238.
Today there are 1,502 new cured patients, bringing the total to 93,619 (82.8% of all cases).
Excluding the deceased and cured of Covid, the positives are currently today 16,264, 7% less than yesterday. Of these, those hospitalized in Covid wards are 1,370, 33 less than yesterday, but there are four people in very serious conditions who have been transferred to intensive care; those hospitalized in the critical area therefore rise to 214.
Others 14,894 people are infected instead in isolation at homeas they have mild symptoms that do not require hospital care or have no symptoms (1,182 less than yesterday).
I am instead 27,695 (84 less than yesterday) people, also isolated, in active surveillance because they have had contact with infected people (ASL Center 8,823, North West 14,231, South East 4,641).
The following are the cases of positivity in the area with yesterday’s change:
– There are 31,567 cases in total to date in Florence (81 more than yesterday), 9,925 in Prato (12 more), 10,029 in Pistoia (27 more);
– 7,251 in Massa (16 more), 11,532 in Lucca (48 more), 15,788 in Pisa (48 more), 7,896 in Livorno (14 more),
– 10,075 in Arezzo (26 more), 4,570 in Siena (13 more), 3,933 in Grosseto (47 more).
Therefore, there are 122 cases found today in the Central Local Health Authority, 124 in the Northwest, 86 in the Southeast.
I am 3,238 have died since the start of the epidemic divided as follows: 1115 in Florence, 222 in Prato, 252 in Pistoia, 353 in Massa Carrara, 288 in Lucca, 365 in Pisa, 237 in Livorno, 188 in Arezzo, 105 in Siena, 77 in Grosseto, 36 people died on Tuscan soil but were residents outside the region.
