12/14/2020 – The control activity on the observance of the measures to counteract and contain the spread of the Covid-19 virus in the territory of this province also continued this last weekend.
On Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 December, 376 and 407 people were checked respectively. The administrative infractions contested were 2 on Saturday and 3 on Sunday. On the other hand, a person was reported to the competent judicial authority, in accordance with art. 260 of Royal Decree 1265/1934 “Consolidated Health Laws”, for having violated the provisions on mandatory isolation.
During the two days, 243 commercial activities were also monitored (150 on Saturday, 93 on Sunday) without contesting any infringement. Meanwhile, procedures have been initiated to impose sanctions for violations of contagion containment measures against offenders who have not made use of the right to pay the penalty.
The periodic meeting of the Provincial Commission for Citizen Order and Safety will be held tomorrow afternoon, chaired by the Prefect, for an update of the situation on the advance of the epidemic and on the application of the provisions of the DPCM of December 3 2020.
