The social gatherings of the last few days have led the government to enact restrictive measures during the Christmas period. Three possible scenarios.

As we have already written, the government is evaluating a tightening of anti-contagion measures on holidays and days before holidays: the idea on the table is to make the whole of Italy a red or orange zone on the days of greatest risk, allowing at the same time a specific relaxation for small municipalities.

However, in this sense, the opinion of the CTS experts is decisive, which on the morning of December 14 should illustrate the possibilities and risks related to substantially three possible scenarios, with the spectrum of the third wave of Coronavirus infections for impose maximum attention.

At the head of the hard line in the government were the Minister of Health, Roberto Speranza, and Francesco Boccia, Minister of Regional Affairs. The latter, in fact, said: “I understand people’s desire to go out, but – Points – It would be enough to enter a hospital to realize the general state in which the country is. In some streets there are intolerable gatherings, while we should feel the national mourning within us every day ”.

There are three scenarios, as we learn:

Scenario 1: National Orange Zone from December 24 to January 1. Therefore, the bars and restaurants will be closed for lunch and a stop at the exit of their municipality;

Scenario 2: National red zone on the days before holidays and bank holidays, therefore, from December 24 to 27, from December 31 to January 3 and from January 5 to 6. Therefore, stores are also closed, as well as all non-essential activities. Stop leaving home except for the reasons provided by the Dpcm, that is, health, work and proven need;

Scenario 3: national orange zone from December 24 to January 6, with the strengthening of the curfew that would begin at 8 p.m., if not 6 p.m.

As to movements between municipalitiesFor the moment, the hypothesis of granting people who live in the center of less than 5,000 inhabitants leave the municipality on vacation remains the most accredited, with routes that should not include routes greater than 30 km.
