the new anti-Covid measures for the Christmas season wanted by the Sicilian Technical-Scientific Committee, and supported by President Musumeci, they foresee different obligations for tens of thousands of people (the forecasts speak of some 100,000 Sicilians ready to go home) for those who want to spend the Christmas holidays with your loved ones .
Who will return to the island in the first place. December 14, 2020 to January 7, 2021 you must register on the website http://www.siciliacoronavirus.it in the specifically dedicated section. The form will ask you if you have undergone molecular swabbing in the 48 hours prior to your arrival in Sicily and, if so, to indicate the result. If not, those who return to Sicily have three possibilities:
- Undergo a rapid rhino-pharyngeal swab in one of the drive-ins prepared by the Region of Sicily;
- Get the molecular swab done on your own in a private laboratory recognized by the Sicilian Region;
- Put yourself in fiduciary isolation at home for 10 days with the obligation to notify your GP, the pediatrician of free choice or the corresponding ASP.

Obviously, not everyone returning from Sicily will have to undergo antigen testing or register on the site created by the regional administration. As required by article 1 of the ordinance, in fact, “travelers are excluded or those who have left the regional territory in the days immediately preceding and go to the national territory for a period of less than four days. “
In short, those who return from the “mainland” every day for work reasons will not have to follow the procedure provided for all those who will return to Sicily just to spend the holidays and Christmas holidays with family and friends.
